GEM Indonesia plans to build a laterite nickel ore hydrometallurgical smelting plant with an annual output of 20,000 tons of nickel raw materials (nickel intermediates) for new energy in the IMIP Park in Morowali County, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 23,000 tons of nickel metal, with a total investment of no more than US$400 million.
