Pony.ai joins Abu Dhabi smart car cluster

In October 2023, Pony.ai joined the Abu Dhabi Intelligent Vehicle Industry Cluster (SAVI) and subsequently received a $100 million investment from Saudi New Future City (NEOM), with a corporate valuation of $8.5 billion. Pony.ai plans to establish an autonomous driving manufacturing and R&D center in Saudi Arabia to provide autonomous driving R&D and manufacturing services for the Middle East and North Africa.
