Mercedes-Benz's electric car sales in China are sluggish

Although Mercedes-Benz has launched a number of electric models in the Chinese market, such as EQC, EQB, EQA, EQE and EQE SUV, the sales of these models have not met expectations. For example, the cumulative sales of EQE in 2023 were only 8,471 units, while the sales of EQB, EQE SUV, EQA and EQC were 6,667 units, 6,120 units, 4,012 units and 169 units respectively. These sales data are still far behind the mainstream electric models in China.
