SK Hynix builds advanced packaging plant in Indiana, U.S.

SK Hynix has decided to build an advanced packaging plant in Indiana, focusing on 3D stacking processes to manufacture HBM (high bandwidth memory). These HBMs will be integrated into Nvidia's GPUs in the future. The move is aimed at reducing dependence on advanced chips outside the United States.
