Indian automakers accelerate electrification

Indian automakers such as Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki are accelerating the development and production of electric vehicles. Among them, Tata Motors has become India's largest battery consumer with its strong electric vehicle portfolio. Maruti Suzuki plans to launch its first electric vehicle, the eVX, in 2025, which is expected to drive 20% of India's battery demand by 2035.
