Arm lawyers refute Qualcomm's allegations

Daralyn Durie, an Arm lawyer, warned the jury that the allegations would distract from the issue they had to decide: whether Qualcomm and Nuvia, a startup it acquired in 2021, had breached a licensing agreement. “The purpose of this is to get you thinking about things that have nothing to do with breach,” Durie said. In 2022, Arm said Nuvia and Qualcomm had breached Arm’s contract for Nuvia technology, and in response, the British company terminated the agreement, forcing Nuvia to destroy technology built on it.
