Kioxia/Western Digital's NAND Flash wafer output increased by about 20% in the first quarter of 2024

According to the latest data from industry analyst Omdia, Kioxia/Western Digital's NAND Flash wafer output in the first quarter of 2024 reached 1.22 million pieces, an increase of about 20% from 1.02 million pieces in the fourth quarter of 2023. However, as NAND Flash leader Samsung Electronics was hesitant to increase production capacity, Kioxia/Western Digital also decided not to further increase the supply of NAND Flash.
