Hyundai Motor Group invests 1 trillion won to build integrated die-casting plant

Hyundai Motor Group announced that it will invest 1 trillion won (about 5.32 billion yuan) to build an integrated die-casting (HyperCasting) plant in Ulsan, South Korea. This revolutionary technology will redesign the internal parts of the car, achieve high integration, and form them in one go through a large die-casting machine, eliminating the traditional welding process. Hyundai Motor will use a 6,000-ton integrated die-casting process to produce ultra-large aluminum body parts to achieve lightweight body and simplified production processes.
