Honda and Nissan enter merger talks, plan to bring Mitsubishi Motors under their umbrella

Honda Motor and Nissan Motor are about to enter a merger negotiation phase, aiming to integrate the resources of both parties and enhance their competitiveness. They plan to include Mitsubishi Motors under the newly established holding company. Honda Executive Vice President Shinji Aoyama said the company is considering a variety of options, including mergers, capital cooperation or the establishment of a holding company.
