"Cool River Venture HK Limited", founded by ByteDance co-founder Zhang Yiming, has successfully obtained the Type 9 license from the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission, which means that the company can conduct asset management business in Hong Kong. Cool River Venture, established on May 22, 2023, is a private limited company, and Zhang Yiming is its sole director.
