Weilan New Energy's semi-solid-state battery achieves mass production

Compared with other solid-state battery companies, Weilan New Energy has taken the lead in achieving mass production of semi-solid-state batteries. At present, the company has established four major production bases in Fangshan, Beijing, Liyang, Jiangsu, Huzhou, Zhejiang, and Zibo, Shandong, with a planned production capacity of more than 100GWh. Among them, the Huzhou base successfully rolled off the first solid-state power cell in November 2022, and began to deliver 360Wh/kg lithium battery semi-solid products to NIO in June 2023.
