CATL launches 2024 Chocolate Battery Swap Ecosystem Conference to promote the development of battery swap technology

Zeng Yuqun, Chairman and CEO of CATL, said at the meeting that by 2030, battery swapping, home charging, and public charging piles will share the market. CATL will continue to promote the standardization of battery swapping and apply all new battery technologies to chocolate battery swapping models. According to the plan, the company will build 1,000 chocolate battery swapping stations by 2025 and enter Hong Kong and Macao, China at the same time. In the medium-term plan, CATL will build 10,000 stations with partners. As the battery swapping ecosystem grows, the scale of battery swapping stations will eventually reach 30,000.
