Stellantis to build new mass-market models in Italy

Stellantis will assign a new mass-market model to one of its Italian plants as part of a long-term production plan it will submit to the Italian government on Tuesday, according to people familiar with the matter. Italian Industry Minister Adolfo Urso will host a meeting with the automaker, suppliers and unions in Rome at 1 p.m. local time to reach a deal to revive Italian car production.
