GAC Aion plans to achieve mass production at the GAC Mitsubishi plant in June 2024, with an annual production capacity of 600,000 vehicles. GAC Aion is currently in the process of launching an IPO, and its sales have been closely behind BYD in the past year. GAC Mitsubishi's discontinued plant has now been taken over by GAC Aion, once again staging the industry story of electric vehicles saving fuel vehicles.
