Tesla may develop its own lidar technology

Hesai, Valeo and Huawei have all adopted the VCSEL+rotating mirror+SPAD technology path, and the Sagitar has switched to this solution since the M3. With its first-mover advantage and self-developed chips, Hesai is expected to win orders from mainstream domestic car manufacturers in 24-27. Overseas, due to US restrictions, Valeo may occupy a major market share, forcing domestic companies to go overseas to build factories.
