BYD's energy storage business develops rapidly and wins bids for multiple projects

BYD's energy storage business has developed rapidly in the domestic market. In 2023 alone, it won bids for more than 100 energy storage-related projects with a total capacity of more than 25GWh. In order to further enhance its competitiveness, BYD has released two energy storage system products: BYD Cube and MC-I. Both products use BYD's self-developed lithium iron phosphate blade cells, which have high space utilization and a small number of parts.
