ON Semiconductor and DENSO deepen cooperation on autonomous driving technology

ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON) and DENSO CORPORATION, a Tier 1 automotive supplier, announced the expansion of their long-term partnership in autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) technologies. Over the past decade, ON Semiconductor has been providing advanced smart automotive sensors to DENSO to enhance the performance of ADAS and autonomous driving. These semiconductors play an increasingly important role in improving the intelligence of vehicles, including connectivity, which will help reduce the incidence of traffic accidents.
