Xpeng Huitian flying car made its first flight in Shanghai, expected to be mass-produced and delivered in 2026

On December 14, Xiaopeng Huitian's "land aircraft carrier" flying car successfully completed a test flight in Lujiazui, Shanghai's core business district. This was also the first flight of a flying car in Shanghai. Xiaopeng Huitian's founder and president Zhao Deli said that the mass production factory of Xiaopeng Huitian's flying cars is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025; the flying car is expected to obtain the type certificate of the Civil Aviation Administration of China at the end of October 2025, and it is expected to allow "first flight code" users to "fly" in 2026.
