Changan Ford recalls 62,412 Explorer vehicles

Changan Ford Automobile Co., Ltd. announced that according to the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products", 62,412 Explorer vehicles produced between September 16, 2019 and October 14, 2022 will be recalled from February 2, 2024. The reason for this recall is that the design strength of the external fuel filter of some vehicles is insufficient, which may cause fuel leakage and fire risk. Changan Ford will replace the improved fuel filter for the affected vehicles free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
