Audi's Brussels plant to close in 2025

Audi has confirmed that its plant in Brussels, Belgium, will cease operations on February 28, 2025. The plant is Audi's first dedicated electric vehicle plant, mainly responsible for the production of the Audi Q8 e-tron. In 2023, the plant produced a total of 53,555 pure electric vehicles, accounting for about 30% of the 178,000 electric vehicles delivered by Audi throughout the year. Due to sluggish sales, Audi said in July that it might close the plant.
