Isuzu Motors plans to produce electric version of D-MAX pickup truck in Thailand

Japanese automaker Isuzu Motors plans to produce an electric version of its D-MAX pickup truck in Thailand. To achieve this goal, Isuzu plans to invest 1 trillion yen (about 6.62 billion U.S. dollars) in research and development over the next few years. The electric D-MAX pickup truck is expected to be exported from Thailand to Norway, the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries starting in 2025.
