Qingmeibang's first phase project achieved 30% overproduction, with annual shipments of more than 27,000 tons of nickel metal MHP in 2023

The first phase of the Qingmeibang project, an Indonesian nickel resource project implemented by Qingmeibang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of GEM, was completed and put into production in September 2022. The project's investment output rate, product quality and operating costs are at the advanced level in the global industry, and carbon emissions are significantly lower than the current pyrometallurgical process. The original annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of nickel metal can be increased to more than 40,000 tons of nickel metal, achieving an overproduction of more than 30%. In 2023, more than 27,000 tons of nickel metal MHP will be shipped throughout the year.
