Stellantis expands battery production capacity layout, planning global battery annual production capacity to reach 400GWh

Stellantis, the world's fourth largest automaker, said it will invest in the construction of battery super factories worldwide to achieve an annual battery production capacity of approximately 400GWh. Currently, Stellantis has announced plans to build six battery super factories around the world, and there will be more in the future. Among them, Stellantis plans an annual battery production capacity of 150GWh in North America and 250GWh in Europe.
