Jiyue Auto suppliers collectively speak out, demanding Baidu and Geely to resolve the debt issue

Recently, a document titled "Joint Statement of Jiyue Automobile Suppliers" circulated online, attracting widespread attention. This statement came from all Jiyue Automobile's suppliers, who said that due to their trust in Baidu and Geely, they cooperated with these two large companies and invested a lot of money. However, according to incomplete estimates, Jiyue Automobile owes nearly 2 billion to all suppliers. These companies are now facing tremendous financial pressure. If they cannot recover the money in time, they may encounter problems such as broken capital chain, layoffs, and employee unemployment, and may even default on accounts with downstream suppliers. Therefore, they made the following requests to Baidu and Geely: immediately convene a meeting of Jiyue Automobile, Baidu Holdings, Geely Holdings and supplier representatives to publicly respond to the solution to the supplier's arrears, clarify the time and method of resolution, and require Baidu Holdings and Geely Holdings to assume the bottom line responsibility. If there is no clear solution by December 16, 2024, they will unite and seek explanations from Baidu Holdings and Geely Holdings in a reasonable and legal manner.
