US to invest $1 billion in electric vehicles and other sectors in the Philippines

U.S. companies will announce investments of more than $1 billion in the Philippines in areas including solar energy, electric vehicles and digitalization, U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said during a visit to Manila.
