Bosch Group acquires California chipmaker TSI Semiconductors and invests $1.5 billion in transformation

In April 2023, Bosch Group announced the acquisition of key assets of California chipmaker TSI Semiconductors, including its factories, machines and infrastructure as well as its commercial semiconductor business. Bosch plans to invest $1.5 billion to transform TSI's chip production facilities in Roseville, California, with the goal of starting production of silicon carbide chips in 2026.
