BOE plans to invest 63 billion yuan to build China's first 8.6-generation AMOLED production line

On March 27, BOE plans to invest in the construction of the first domestic and the world's first 8.6-generation AMOLED production line in Chengdu, with a total investment of approximately 63 billion yuan. The project covers an area of ​​1,400 acres and has a designed production capacity of 32,000 glass substrates per month, mainly used to produce high-end touch OLED displays for smart terminals such as laptops and tablets. The project is expected to achieve mass production in the fourth quarter of 2026, and the annual output value is expected to exceed 40 billion yuan after full production.
