According to reports, American electric car maker Tesla has resumed its search for a showroom site in New Delhi, India, a sign that Tesla may be reconsidering its entry into the Indian market. Tesla is currently in preliminary talks with DLF, India's largest real estate developer, to acquire space to open a showroom in New Delhi. In addition, Tesla is also in talks with other companies. Tesla is looking for about 280 square meters to 465 square meters of space to build a consumer experience center, and also needs a place three times this size for delivery and service operations. Tesla is evaluating multiple locations, including the DLF Avenue Mall in south Delhi and the Cyber Hub office and retail complex in the nearby city of Gurugram.
