Porsche and Audi face delays in electric vehicle launches due to Northvolt bankruptcy

Volkswagen Group brands Porsche and Audi may be forced to postpone the launch of planned electric models because the necessary battery cells they had expected to purchase from Northvolt will not be available as planned. Porsche had expected Northvolt to be the sole battery supplier for its 718 series. Audi is also studying whether the contract signed with its battery cell manufacturer can still be fulfilled.
