Ace Green Recycling acquires Athena and completes Nasdaq listing

Battery recycling company Ace Green Recycling announced the successful acquisition of Athena and has been listed on Nasdaq. Ace Green Recycling said that the company is seeking large-scale expansion in the United States and is using the advantages of listing on Nasdaq to accelerate this process. Ace Green Recycling has annual revenue of approximately $23 million, mainly from the recycling of key battery materials for lead batteries and lithium-ion batteries. As a supplier of hydrometallurgical recycling solutions, Ace Green Recycling does not require any smelting or heat treatment of lead and lithium batteries. The company operates and has commercial facilities in India (recycling lithium-ion batteries from 2023). In 2024, it has licensed its leading recycling technology to ACME Metal in Taiwan. The company said that it has established plants in the United States and processed more than 3 million pounds of lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries in India and Taiwan. Its LithiumFirst technology can recover up to 75% of lithium from LFP and nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) batteries with a purity of more than 99%.
