Despite the downturn in the European electric vehicle market, battery manufacturer ACC (Automotive Cells Company) still plans to sign a new loan agreement to finance the construction of the second production area of its northern French super factory. It is reported that the loan is guaranteed by ACC's two major shareholders, automakers Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz Group, and the loan amount is about 1 billion euros (about 1.05 billion US dollars). ACC's French super factory already has a production area in operation with a maximum production capacity of 15 gigawatt hours. At the same time, the plant is building a second production area with a planned production capacity of 13 gigawatt hours.
