Geely and Baidu pledge to help Jiyue Automobile solve problems

Geely and Baidu recently issued a statement, saying that they will actively assist the management of Jiyue Automobile to solve the current problems. The statement stated that it will give priority to handling employee social security payments and compensation for resigned employees, while ensuring the use of user vehicles, after-sales service and maintenance, and promoting reasonable and legal solutions to other matters. Jiyue Automobile CEO Xia Yiping said in the all-staff group that the company has agreed to the reasonable demands of employees and has formulated a communication plan with Baidu and Geely. Xia Yiping also promised that the employee compensation plan will be determined on December 17. He emphasized that the company is actively seeking financing, will not shut down or go bankrupt, and will continue to provide vehicle warranty and software services.
