Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Co., Ltd. and Honda Motor Co., Ltd. discuss possible joint venture

In response to the growing demand for lithium-ion battery separators in North America, Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Co., Ltd. and Honda Motor Co., Ltd. are exploring the possibility of establishing a joint venture that will focus on producing Hipore™ separators specifically tailored for electric vehicle batteries produced by Honda Motor and other automakers targeting the North American market.
