Beijing Weilan New Energy and YW Automotive Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement

On April 22, 2024, Beijing Weilan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and YW Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hefei. YW Automotive Technology is a subsidiary of Anhui JAC Automobile Group, focusing on intelligent electrification technology, with 17 years of industry experience, mainly developing pure electric A-class car market. The two parties will cooperate to develop models using 4695 large cylindrical semi-solid battery cells based on JAC YT's global second-generation pure electric platform-DI platform. It will adopt in-situ solid-state technology, with a single cell capacity of 34Ah and an energy density of up to 300Wh/kg. It is expected to achieve mass production in 2025, with a range of 600km to 1000km.
