Changan's new Yubei plant project is accelerating, with an estimated annual production capacity of 280,000 vehicles

Since the beginning of this year, Changan Yubei New Factory Project has mobilized more than 800 employees to join the front-line production. At present, the installation progress of major equipment has exceeded 90%, and all efforts are made to prepare for the mass production of new models. The project is located in Frontier Science and Technology City, covering an area of ​​about 1,159 acres, with a total construction area of ​​400,000 square meters and a total investment of 10 billion yuan. As a cooperative project with large enterprises such as Huawei, the factory is centered on intelligence, high efficiency and low emissions, has nine complete vehicle production processes, and plans to produce three new energy vehicles. After full production, the annual output is expected to reach 280,000 vehicles, with an annual output value of more than 50 billion yuan. At present, the equipment in the die-casting workshop is in place, and the production line is being assembled and debugged intensively. From the start of construction to the basic completion, the project took only 11 months. According to the project leader, the factory uses 5G full-connection technology to connect more than 12,000 devices to the digital foundation to achieve digital replication of the production process. The new factory integrates the manufacturing process of new energy vehicles through cloud native and microservice technology architecture, including die-casting, machining, stamping and other processes, to achieve real-time monitoring and management of all aspects of production.
