Xu Cheng, chief engineer of Chongqing Meilixin Casting, said that the company began to conduct preliminary research on die-casting machine parameters and mold parameters in 2019. In April 2022, the trial mold was completed on the 8,800-ton die-casting island, and the first batch of samples was successfully delivered. Mass production officially began in November 2022. In February 2023, the 7,000-ton die-casting island began mass production. They use this technology to produce structural parts for electric vehicles, such as integrated front cabins, rear floors, battery trays, etc.
