NIO to build 9 vertical and 9 horizontal high-speed battery swap network within this year

On December 12, at a communication meeting before NIO Day 2024, NIO announced the latest construction progress of the charging and swapping infrastructure layout. As of December 12, NIO has built 2,779 battery swapping stations across the country, including 907 on highways. NIO will open up the national 9 vertical and 9 horizontal high-speed battery swapping network within the year, and it is expected to build more than 900 highway battery swapping stations, with an average of one battery swapping station for every 200 kilometers of highway.
