Zhuhai Guanyu lost the US patent lawsuit and was required to pay Ningde New Energy about 33.87 million yuan

Recently, Zhuhai Guanyu lost the first-instance judgment in the Eastern District Court of Texas, United States, and was required to pay approximately RMB 33.87 million in compensation to CATL. The lawsuit originated from June 2022, when CATL accused Zhuhai Guanyu of infringing its patent rights. The court determined that Zhuhai Guanyu infringed one of CATL's patents, and the other two patents were invalid.
