China is promoting chip production line projects in many places

Recently, Nanjing, Beijing, Yangzhou, Guangzhou, Haikou, Longyan and other places in China have launched chip production line projects, covering multiple fields such as silicon carbide, IGBT, filter chips, etc. For example, Nanjing Super Star Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is about to start mass production of 8-inch silicon carbide single crystal substrates, and plans to increase the annual output of 6-8-inch silicon carbide substrates to 1.5 million pieces. Yangzhou Jingxin Microelectronics Co., Ltd. is building a second 6-inch production line, which is expected to start mass production in 2025.
