Coherent plans to upgrade its US factory and expand InP production line

Under the Chips and Science Act, Coherent announced that it will invest $33 million to upgrade its Sherman, Texas, USA plant and expand its world's first 6-inch (150mm) InP production line. This project is expected to expand the scale production of InP devices by introducing advanced wafer manufacturing equipment.
