According to the latest news, the Fangbaobao 5 lidar version has submitted application information and is expected to be equipped with the same Huawei Qiankun Smart Driving ADS 3.0 system as the Leopard 8. The appearance design of the new car will remain consistent with the existing model, but some new smart driving hardware will be added, such as a trinocular camera module, side-view camera and exterior rear-view mirror camera. In terms of interior design, the new car will continue to use the "super lock" design, the shift lever can be raised and lowered, and the sub-dashboard adopts a double-layer design, with a 50-watt mobile phone wireless charging port on the upper layer. In terms of power, the new car will continue to be equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. The maximum power of the front and rear motors are 200 kW and 285 kW respectively, and the maximum net power of the engine is 135 kW. Currently, the Leopard 5 has a pure electric range of 125 kilometers, while the battery and endurance data of the lidar version have not yet been announced. In terms of off-road performance, all Leopard 5 series are equipped with rear axle differential lock as standard and support low-speed four-wheel drive mode. According to the latest sales data, Leopard 5 sales reached 6,058 units in November this year, ranking fifth in the sales list of plug-in hybrid mid-size SUVs.
