Nissan uses 6000T die casting island to produce rear floor of electric vehicles

Nissan announced that it will use the large-scale integrated die-casting technology pioneered by Tesla for the production of rear floors of some electric vehicles. This technology is expected to significantly reduce costs and improve manufacturing efficiency. Starting in fiscal 2027, Nissan plans to use a 6,000-ton ultra-large die-casting island to produce rear floor components for electric vehicles.
