ROHM and TSMC establish strategic cooperation to promote the development of automotive GaN power devices

On December 10, Rohm and TSMC announced a strategic partnership to focus on the development and mass production of automotive GaN power devices. The partnership combines Rohm's GaN device development technology with TSMC's GaN-on-silicon process technology to meet the market's growing demand for power devices with high withstand voltage and excellent high-frequency characteristics.
