Jiyue Automobile announced layoffs and completely eliminated its R&D department

Jiyue Automobile, a well-known automobile manufacturer, recently announced a large-scale layoff plan. It is reported that the main target of the layoffs is the R&D department, which will be completely eliminated in this adjustment. The company currently has more than 5,000 employees, including regular employees and outsourced employees. Among them, the more than 300 employees in the after-sales department will be reduced to only 80 people, and only about a quarter of the employees will be able to stay on the job.
