Jiaxing Star Microelectronics Co., Ltd. announced that the environmental impact assessment document of its annual production of 180,000 12-inch high-performance automotive-grade fast recovery diode chip production line construction project has been approved and publicized. The total investment of the plan is 1.5 billion yuan. It will use the existing factory buildings to renovate the dust-free workshop and purchase equipment and tools such as photolithography machines, glue coating and developing machines, etching machines, ion implantation machines, chemical plating production lines, annealing furnaces, electron microscopes, thickness gauges, and stress testers. After the project is completed, the company will have an annual production capacity of 180,000 high-performance automotive-grade fast recovery diode chips.
