NIO also stated that its models equipped with 150kWh semi-solid battery packs are expected to be mass-produced in 2024 with an energy density of 360Wh/kg. Changan Automobile plans to launch semi-solid battery models in the next two years. In addition, overseas automakers such as BMW, Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, Hyundai, and Honda plan to achieve mass production and installation of solid-state batteries from 2025 to 2030.
