Stellantis and Zeta Energy partner to develop lithium-sulfur batteries to power electric vehicles by 2030

Global automotive manufacturing giant Stellantis and Zeta Energy have entered into a joint development agreement to advance battery cell technology for electric vehicle applications. The goal of this collaboration is to develop lithium-sulfur electric vehicle batteries with revolutionary gravimetric energy density while achieving volumetric energy density comparable to current lithium-ion technology.
