China National Energy Group and Three Gorges Energy launch bidding for large-scale energy storage projects

Recently, China Energy Group and Three Gorges Energy launched a large-scale energy storage project bidding, with a total procurement scale of 417.6MW/1195.2MWh. Among them, the project of China Energy Group is the first phase of the Guoyuan Power Lingzhou Power Plant Grid Storage Power Station, located in Lingwu City, Ningxia. It plans to build a 270MW/540MWh grid storage power station in two phases, with a construction scale of 137.6MW/275.2MWh in this phase. The two projects of Three Gorges Energy are the 180MW/720MWh energy storage power station in Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai and the 100MW/200MWh energy storage power station in Golmud, Qinghai, both of which use lithium iron phosphate battery technology.
