Stellantis announced that it will recall 317,630 vehicles due to failure of the anti-lock braking system and other systems caused by a faulty hydraulic control unit. These vehicles are mainly in the United States, with a small number in Canada, Mexico and other regions. The models involved are mainly Ram pickups from 2017 to 2018, including Ram 2500, Ram 3500, Ram 4500 and Ram 5500. The company's report shows that the hydraulic control unit of the affected cars is prone to problems, which may cause the anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control system and traction control system to fail to work properly, increasing the risk of collision. However, the conventional braking system was not affected. So far, the company has not received any reports of collisions or injuries related to this problem.
