Ganfeng Lithium and Pilbara Minerals consider joint lithium refinery development

On March 25, Ganfeng Lithium and Australian lithium producer Pilbara Mining Company issued a statement saying that the two parties are considering jointly developing a lithium refinery with an annual output of 32,000 tons of lithium carbonate equivalent. According to the binding list of terms signed by the two parties, the feasibility study is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025. After completing the feasibility study, the two parties may choose to make a final investment decision on the facility and form a joint venture in which each party holds a 50% stake.
